AEO status means being an individual or legal entity engaged in activities regulated by customs legislation as part of their professional endeavours, that is regarded as a trusted operator for customs operations, and consequently, eligible for advantages throughout the European Union.

A company with AEO status will be internationally recognised as a “secure and reliable operator” within the goods supply chain (logistics chain).
