Requirements

The Union Customs Code has established the following criteria for granting the status of Authorised Economic Operator:

A satisfactory history of compliance with customs and tax requirements, as well as the absence of records of economic crimes.
An appropriate system for managing commercial records and, where applicable, transport records, enabling proper customs checks.
Demonstrated financial solvency.
If applicable, an adequate level of competence or professional qualification.
If applicable, appropriate levels of security and safety.
